With all the political, social, and racial unrest currently creating great divisiveness in the United States, I fear this country is heading towards another Civil War. For the months leading up to the 2020 Presidential election, I painted in books about the actual Civil War. As a metaphor for my prayers for democracy, in my series American Civil War 2020, I use only the color blue to reflect the color of the Union Soldiers' uniforms and the color of today's Democratic Party.
